My sinuses are all stuffed up.
My eyes are all red and itchy.
My throat tickles from too many sneezes.
My ears feel all pluggy and gross.
My head is pounding.
It’s bloody March and I’m already starting to suffer from seasonal allergies that I’ve never before experienced before late May. My body is used to being surrounded by ice and snow at this time of year and, quite frankly, I’m a bit shocked by how early spring has sprung here in Vancouver.
I really wasn’t surprised when I woke up this morning unable to breathe from all the sinus congestion. You should just see the trees here! Apparently they didn’t get the memo that it’s a bit early to be in full bloom. They’re like “It’s spring bitches! Get over it!”
This lovely photo by markymark1066 here in Vancouver isn’t from the current year, but it’s an accurate depiction of how the streets of the city currently appear.
Who wouldn’t want to live amongst that sort of beauty and splendor?
Someone who suffers from seasonal allergies, that’s who!
I’m all doped up on Claritin® and dragging my congested ass to bed. Here’s hoping that I wake up feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
